The coastal areas within the Bailiwick of Guernsey offer stunning scenery, views and landmarks which can only be accessed by sea.
Here at Guernsey Coastal Cruises, we offer unrivalled tours along the coastal areas of Guernsey and Herm, showcasing the beautiful bays, inlets, rock formations and other local landmarks, along with the chance to spot local marine wildlife.
Our traditional passenger vessel 'GLAD TIDINGS' was built in 1979 by Gerrards, Arbroath, Scotland. She was commissioned by Billy Shiel, a ferry operator based in Seahouses, Northumberland. Together, they shipped thousands of visitors back and forth to the Farne Islands.
In June 2023, we purchased GLAD TIDINGS so that she could continue her life in Guernsey. She was transported 400 miles over-land by truck and trailer to Poole where she then completed her journey to Guernsey via the cargo ship 'MV TRINITY'.
She now enjoys her life in the local waters around Guernsey and Herm.

Director & Skipper
Chad Murray
Chad has enjoyed a 30 year career at sea and is a fully qualified Master Mariner as well as local Marine Pilot. He is arguably one of the most experienced mariners in Guernsey. Chad is the regular Skipper of GLAD TIDINGS and draws on his local maritime knowledge and vast experience to develop exciting and interesting tours.

Dylan Ray
Dylan is an Engineer and continuously learning all there is to know. He is also our coastal guide on the trips and will endeavour to answer all scenic questions you may have! Dylan will go above and beyond to make your trip worthwhile!
